The Emma Maersk is a true marine engineering marvel. The world largest container ship, longest ship currently in service and is propelled by the largest diesel engine ever manufactured. She is bigger than any aircraft carrier and manages to carry 15000 containers with only a crew of 13! She was designed for High Sea travels only and unable to negotiate the Suez or Panama canals. Her Command Bridge is located at 10-floors building height. She has a top speed of 55.8 km/h and will take her about 4 days to reach Asia from US. Below are the photos of the biggest man-made vehicle on the sea.

Yes this is very beautiful place. but when i visited china i enjoyed my journey on many places without worry because i hired china car service with professional driver.
Some oil tankers are even bigger (longer than 400 meters)! Search for “TI class supertankers”.

Did any of you catch that it is a fake picture. That ship was photoshopped into all of the pictures.
It is currently the biggest container ship in service but it is not bigger than the United States Nimitz Class aircraft carriers. Official size of ships are calculated by gross tonnage and the Nimitz class has a bigger tonnage than this ship.

Yay! Maersk has built a yet larger monster of steel to pollute our oceans with!
The Maersk shipping fleet alone emits as much sulphur dioxide as nine billion cars – or 12 times the total number of cars on the planet – all of which comes from the burning of fuel oil by ships, even though there have been sulphur removing filters on the market for the last 20 years.
Maersk emits more CO2 than the country of Denmark.
The results of marine pollution aren’t easily available because the damage is, well, under water and not visible. And so most people don’t know about it. Or don’t care.
But yeah, it’s a great looking ship, y’all.
