Who don’t know this guy? Maybe only foreigners don’t recognize him. Got this article from NST online. His music is fast, funky and catchy, with the likes of Yang Terhangat Di Pasaran, Tak Tahu and Joget Lambak. But Bajau boy Adam or Mohd Aizam Mat Saman is rather sentimental and romantic. The 25-year-old star, produced by reality TV show Akademi Fantasia, prefers quiet family holidays to the fast, action-packed breaks that his music might suggest. His choice of holiday destinations reflects a more subdued side that’s hardly shown to his fans. Whenever his schedule permits, the sexy-eyed singer prefers taking his family for long quiet holidays in destinations where privacy is assured. The NST manage to ask him some questions about travel and places he loves to go. Lets hear it!
When was your last holiday and where?
I hardly go for holidays because I’ve been busy with work. Most of the trips made were working trips. The last break cum working trip was to Pulau Tioman some two years ago. We stayed at the beautiful Japamala Resort.
Have you ever had a really bad experience?
So far no. Thank God.
How best do you unwind during your holiday?

What can’t you leave home without when you travel?
My hand-phone and wallet.

Karambunai in Sabah. We had a family holiday there about two years ago, it was wonderful.
What’s the best hotel you’ve stayed in so far and why?
Nexus Karambunai Resort in Sabah for its exclusivity, privacy and lavishness.
What or who do you miss most when you go travelling?
After a while, I will miss the comfort of my own room.
What do you hate most while travelling?
The scorching sun! When I’m on a beach or an island, I would avoid going to the beach or being under the sun at noon. Usually the best times for me are in the morning or late afternoon.
Where next would you like to go?
So far I have no plans yet.
Where would you recommend your friends to go?

I love butter prawns and the best I’ve ever tasted is at Bora Ombak Restaurant in Ampang, Selangor.
Are you a impulsive traveller or do you follow your budget and itinerary carefully?
I wish I can be more compulsive but due to my tight schedules, I need a travel agent to organise everything for me.
Any advice or tips for travellers?
Fully enjoy your holiday and don’t go home regretting not doing or trying something or missing anything important.
Any comment on Malaysian tourism; places of interest, services, etc?
The authorities should appoint local artists as tourism ambassadors to promote Malaysia as a holiday destination as some of our artists are well known not only in the country but in the region as well.
